Flowing With Natural Attractions
"I was just outside, I went for a walk thinking that I was going to go far into the land. But my first attraction was to stand under the palm tree and feel my breath. I did that for a while, and usually when I do that, my hands start moving in different directions without a real conscious effort for them to. This put me in a much more connected space; it felt like a space of synchronicity.
I started walking further in, and all of a sudden my walk started becoming a dance. I was walking but dancing as I let myself be attracted by different objects in nature. I had many different attractions as I spontaneously flowed out there. I would interact with different living things there. I took a couple of fallen branches and touched other objects with them; they were my hands for a while. I danced around ant piles, and in my flow, every moment I turned around I would find one, like it was meant for me to visit them all. And I danced around them all; I would literally go around them all making a full circle with my movements. I would go around the area touching plants and dancing with them, with fungi too, and with butterflies. I stood on rocks, I found them all and touched them with my feet or my hands. I dropped the branches I had picked up and continued without them, dancing/walking to the levels and surfaces of the ground, always encountering rocks and always making full circles around the ant piles.
If anybody would have seen me as I danced in my "backyard" they would have definitely thought I was a lunatic, and maybe I was at that moment, and still am because I am dancing as I am writing; but I know I feel in the flow at this moment, and as always it was introduced by my concentration on my breath with my eyes closed.
I don't really know what to make of this experience, I don't know how to explain it, I would not know how to teach it besides telling somebody to just do what comes more spontaneous to them, and to tell them to start by concentrating on their breathing. I don't know what the benefits of doing this are, or why I did it. Well I guess I have an answer to that one, because I feel like it and it feels good to flow."
